Your YPS authored two policy resolutions for the 2021 Annual Meeting and both were passed to become OSMA policy. Below are the details:
Resolution 5 creates comprehensive policy on the governance and proliferation of Ohio Telehealth and represents OSMA's first official policy on Telehealth.
Resolution 36 creates OSMA's first policy in support of and education regarding LGBTQ-specific health.
Finally, your YPS led efforts within the house to pass policy protecting physicians from harmful insurance company practices (Resolutions 14, 15) and ensuring increased access to care for our most vulnerable patients (Resolution 16, 26, 27, 32).
